Review:
First thing that catch my eye about this book: the cover! And then I read a quote that says: "X-Men meets Smallville" and I knew I had to read this book. This is a very fast reading that keeps you entertained as you get to know all the characters.
I love X-Men (comics, cartoon, movies) and Hush Money reminds me a lot of X-Men. Lots of kids with superpowers who are persecuted because they are considered dangerous to society. That is why they have to be invisible and be careful not to your their powers in front of anyone.
Joss -the heroine of this novel- tries to be under the radar and her plan worked until the day Kat came into her life. I really liked her personality and her dress style, kind of tomboy but still looking pretty.
I liked how the story unfolds through the differents characters and all of them well developed, you won't find the tipical nice boy or sweet girl, I found that refreshing.
And I liked that the story was told from Joss and Dylan -male hero- perspective because I get to know both of their characters.
I was a little disappointed by the end, I would liked to read another chapter as a closer. But overall I really enjoy it and definitely leaves the door open for another book
