Description:
The noise between Patch and Nora is gone. They've overcome the secrets riddled in Patch's dark past...bridged two irreconcilable worlds...faced heart-wrenching tests of betrayal, loyalty and trust...and all for a love that will transcend the boundary between heaven and earth. Armed with nothing but their absolute faith in one another, Patch and Nora enter a desperate fight to stop a villain who holds the power to shatter everything they've worked for—and their love—forever.

Review:
First I just want to thank Donna from Book Passion for Life! This was a birthday present that she kindly got Signed for me and it has just been sitting waiting to be read. I really enjoy Hush, Hush and Crescendo. I really thought I would love this as well. However, I didn't. I did overall enjoy it and really can't wait for Finale but it was just lacking the exciting and passion of previous books.

The description on goodreads and amazon is very misleading. And I think that is why I didn't enjoy it as much I wanted. Silence follows Nora trying to recover her memory and reveal the truth about what has happened to her in the past 5 months. I felt like I was thrown into a completely different book and honestly half the time I had know idea what the hell was going on because there was just so much happening and happening way to fast. The biggest thing that bugged was the characters. Nora and Patch (slightly). Nora drove me crazy!!!  I mean seriously crazy. She has been through an ordeal and can't really remember much in the past 5 months. I can get that maybe the she didn't want to play victim but some of the things she did just didn't seem believe in that sitution and down right stupid! Now Patch, oh Patch, Patch, Patch! How I wish he was real. I love Patch! He a cocky, sexy, and dangerous. And he is all this in Silence but he was too lovey in this one. It just didn't fit with his character.

Now, as I said I did overall enjoy Silence. The Plot is different and has a different feel and pace to than previous books but once I got into the book I did enjoy it and found myself hooked. There is alot of action, danger  and thrills that will keep you interested and the last 100 or pages were pretty awesome and sets things up perfectly for Finale.

Overall, I highly recommend this to any one who has read the previous books. And I do recommend the series to anyone who hasn't read it yet!

  1. Great review. I actually didn't mind this installment and for me it was much better than the sequel.

  2. I've put off reading Silence because Nora drove me so crazy in Crescendo (I liked the book, but Nora..ugh) I know I'll have to read it eventually so thanks for this review. Now I know I'll have to psyche myself up to deal with Nora bugging me again. She was so great in Hush, Hush, what happened?
