I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Momma’s boy? Check, check and check.

Now I can’t stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. It’s just a harmless crush, right? It’s not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. It’s not like I’m going to see him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because he’s the doctor. Shoot. Me.

But what if, for once, the man I’ve had the dirtiest, most scandalous fantasies about turned out to be everything but wrong?

I have been recommended this book twice by the same person. Yip, twice!! Kayleigh from over at K-Books highly recommended this to me because I was needing a light read that I could just get lost in. And It was just the ticket!! After reading two "intense" reads I was looking something that would be fun and easy and Wrong was certainly those things.

Sophie is a Twenty One year old at college. Every Tuesday her crush buys a coffee from where she works. She can't stop fantasizing about Luke. He is older, sexy and perfect for crushing on. She'd never dream it would be anything more. Until one day she is at the student clinic to get birth control. And in walks the doctor. Who just happens to be her crush, Luke. Awkward!!!

Wrong is freaking hilarious. I don't just mean funny like you laugh in your head. Or you have a little giggle. I am talking, full blown laugh out loud, snort like a pig and choke on your tea funny. I have never in my life laughed so hard at a book before. I have found other books funny but this one is just down right hysterical. Between the situations Sophie gets into and the one liners from her friend Evelyn I was completely buckled.

Sophie is a good girl. Not completely innocent but a good girl. She is a really likable character. I think she is easy to relate to because who hasn't had a crush on a customer in work. Especially one that comes in all the time. Orders the same thing each time. I know I have. (Large Mocha Guy for me lol). Her crush on Luke is totally understandable. He is HOT. And Older! I personally think he did come across a bit stalkerish. However, he is a very likable. And together? OH MY. HOT HOT HOT. The chemistry they have is sizzling and sexy. They just can't take their hands off each other.

I will admit Sophie and Luke aren't my favourite characters in the story. It's Evelyn. That girl and her one liners are just so bloody funny. Yeah she comes across a bit aggressive and like a stalker (just read it the book lol) but the things she hits out with and nothing short of amazing!!! Can't wait to read her story.

Wrong is the type of story you can just get lost in. You forget everything around you and just enjoy the story. It's fast passed and has a nice easy flow to it. Some story that involve sex can seem like the authors just throw it in to fill space but in this case it all works. And its HOT!!! The plot it's a slightly unbelievable and there are certain parts of storyline reminded me of a little of a watered down Fifty Shades. However, over all it was fantastic read that kept me reading until wee hours.

NO SPOILERS but to those who have read the book? That ending? Who hasn't done that right?

#CoverReveal: My Best Friend's Fiance

Title: My Best Friend's Fiance
Author: Keren Hughes
Genre: Romance
Publisher: Limitless Publishing
Published: 30th May 2017
Goodreads: Add to Shelf

About The Book:
The heart wants what it wants right? But what if it wants something it can never have?

I’m in love, and it should feel amazing...except, it doesn’t. The problem is, the guy I’m in love with happens to be my best friend’s fiancé.

It’s wrong on so many levels. If there was any way I could stop my growing feelings toward the one man who’s completely off limits, I would…but I can’t.

It’s insane, a disaster waiting to happen. The only thing that could make this entire situation worse is if the feeling was mutual—which it isn’t...is it?

About The Author:
Keren lives in the UK and is an avid bookworm. She fondly remembers the days where she would lie in her bedroom away from distraction and get lost in the world of make believe. Her first real memory of reading something she fell in love with was The Hobbit. In her teenage years, she became addicted to Point Horror books like RL Stine's The Boyfriend, but she also enjoyed light Summer reads like What Katy Did and What Katy Did Next. Over the years she has come to realise that she is a bit of an OCD freak about books. They have to be in perfect condition without the slightest bit of damage. She has been a book reviewer for the last few years and a book hoarder for a LOT longer. You can NEVER have too many books! Her shelves are bulging and overflowing but she always wants "just one more book". Keren had her first book published by Limitless Publishing in November 2013. It's a YA Paranormal Romance novel called Stolen. Her second book was published with LP in May 2014. This time, an NA Contemporary Romance called Nothing Like The First Time. She couldn't have been more surprised when NLTFT appeared on the Amazon Best Seller list. That was a dream come true. Keren is currently working on more NA Contemporary Romances for you to fall in love with. Keren loves hearing from her readers.

#BookReview: The Lover's Dictionary by David Levithan

May Contain a still spoiler. Not massive and I haven't went into much detail but just wanted to a put a warning up anyway. lol.

Title: The Lover's Dictionary
Format: eBook
Pages: 229
Published: 1st Feb 2011
Publisher: Fourth Estate
Source: Bought
Genre: Contemporary, Romance
Shelfability:  Acquire

About The Book
How does one talk about love? Do we even have the right words to describe something that can be both utterly mundane and completely transcendent, pulling us out of our everyday lives and making us feel a part of something greater than ourselves? Taking a unique approach to this problem, the nameless narrator of David Levithan’s The Lover's Dictionary has constructed the story of his relationship as a dictionary. Through these short entries, he provides an intimate window into the great events and quotidian trifles of being within a couple, giving us an indelible and deeply moving portrait of love in our time.

The Lover's Dictionary is a hard one to review. So I'm going to keep it short. I first bought this book back  in 2012 and I didn't like it. I couldn't get into the story. I just didn't feel it.  Now 5 years on I wanted to give it another go and I'm glad I did. It's so unique and captivating.

It's a love story told in the form of a dictionary. Each definition relates to certain aspects of the narrators life. From online dating, to moving in with his girlfriend, to dealing with heartache. The author manages to convey a powerful love story in such a way that blew my mind.

You find yourself getting really invested in the characters life. His name is never revealed which I think makes it more relate-able, as you can put yourself in to his place. Really seeing everything through his eyes as if they are your own.  The narrative is so addictive that you will completely devour this book and not even realise it.

My only complaint about this is just a personal thing and it's not actually a bad thing. There is a scene that involves an American Idiot tour T shirt and a fire. That's all I'm going you say. As a massive green day fan let's just say it pissed me off something awful. Other than that The Lover's Dictionary is a fabulous love story and I highly recommend it.

#BookReview: Indelible: Beneath His Ink by Inger Iversen

Title: Indelible (Teal and Trent #2)
Format: e-Arc
Pages: N/A
Published: Inger Iversen Books
Publisher: 12th Dec 2016
Source: Author for Review
Genre: Adult Romance
Shelfability:  COVET
Buy: Amazon UK / Amazon US

About The Book
Former Marine, Trent Reed, is in desperate need of a Hail Mary.

With each failed attempt to convince his woman to pack up and move to Kentucky, his past finds some new way to rear its ugly head. But when his pregnant ex plows into his life, all hell breaks loose—unearthing parts of his past he wished would stay buried.

Two weeks of vacation with her man? Hell yeah, that is exactly what Teal Lofton’s libido needs.

And after surviving seven months apart, their reunion doesn’t disappoint. What she didn’t account for was an unfortunate encounter with people from Trent’s past. A racist, a druggie, and a double-barreled shotgun, culminate into a vacation that will alter the course of her life forever.

I swear this author is trying to kill me!!! Sweet Jesus on fire!! When Inger contacted me to review this book I was not going to say no!! I feel in love with Trent and Teal in Inevitable. So I was dying to get my hands on this and oh my god. It did not disappoint at all. In fact I think it was actually better than the previous book and I didn’t think that was even possible!!!!

After months of trying to convince Teal to move, Trent has a plan when she agrees to come on a two week vacation to his home. He wants to prove how much he loves her and how good it will be if she moves in. However, this don't go smoothly when his ex, Shayla turns up on his doorstep, pregnant. Teal wants to be with her man more than anything but can two weeks with her man filled with chaos change her life?

Oh Trent. Oh My. Trent is just delicious!! I love him so much. He is such a complex character that you just want to take apart and you fall in love with him over and over. He has his issues with his past. But he has turned him life around and you can tell that he has grown as a character from the first book. And is turning into a big sweetheart. Teal? Well, Teal is full of sass! She is fiery and stubborn. She is also strong, independent and sexy as hell. Trent and Teal are polar opposites but together they are a perfect fit. They love each fiercely. The passion between them is sizzling.

The author has really step up her game with this story. It's exciting and crazy and the best part? It oozes sex!! A lot of author do use sex just to fill pages but with Trent and Teal the sex is important and it's steamy as f*ck!!!! These two can't seem to kept their clothes on and that's just how I like it!!! Trent should never be allowed to keep his clothes on. And yes I know he is only a character and it's not real but trust me!! Once you have read this book you will agree with me.

The story itself is fast paced. The reader is taken on one hell of a rollercoaster. It's thrilling, exciting and we get to learn more about Trent's past which I am all for you. Learning more about him is great for his character development. The author deals with so many issues that come up in real like and of course the big one is that our two main characters are in a  mixed race couple. Whoop Whoop. Trent's past issues with race are explored more in the previous book (so go read that first) but Trent and Teal still face problems with their relationship and so does society. Which is bloody messed up. It disgusts me that there is still so much racism in the world and I applaud the author for tackling it. I have a beautiful mixed race son and he gets called racist terms all the time. So in a way I can connect a little more to these characters. Even if at time I wanted to punch Trent for some of the things he said in the past.

If you haven't read this series yet then please go now. You will not be disappointment. They are outstanding, exciting and steamy as hell. I can't recommend these enough. However, I do suggest starting with Incarcerated. It about Trent and Teals best friends Logan and Katie and it’s their story but a must read as this is where we are first introduced to Trent and Teal.
