**Giveaway Time** Snow White Sorrow by Cameron Jace

Today we have a fab giveaway for you. Author Cameron Jace is offering up to one lucky reader an ebook edition of his latest novel, Snow White Sorrow. The giveaway is international and all you have to do is fill out the Rafflecopter Form below.

Title: Snow White Sorrow
Series: The Grimm Diaries #1
Author: Camern Jace
Genre: YA Paranormal, Retellings.

About the Book
Warning: these Grimm Diaries are like poisoned apples. Once you taste them, you will never see fairy tales in the same light again.

What if all you knew about fairy tales was wrong?
Sixteen year old Loki Blackstar is no Prince Charming. His mother is a ghost. His only friend is a red Cadillac that sings to him through the radio. He looks like an Angel but acts like jerk. No wonder he has been banned from Heaven, which is the least of his troubles. Loki needs a job to pay for school and support himself.

Still, Loki has a rare gift: He is a Dreamhunter. One of the few in the world who can hunt and kill immortal demons in their dreams so they never wake up again.

When Loki is sent to kill a sixteen-year-old vampire girl the locals call Snow White Sorrow, he is pulled into a magical but dangerous world. The locals believe the monster to be Snow White.

The real Snow White... living in the ruins of an ancient castle in a small town. She is described as horribly beautiful, terrifyingly enchanting, and wickedly lovely.

What he finds instead is a beautiful monster girl filled with rage and hurt, who has an epic untold story to tell of things such like why the Brothers Grimm altered the fairy tale, who the Evil Queen really is, where the mirror came from, and who possessed it.

Snow White has killed every person who has dared come near the castle where she once lived with the queen. Mysteriously, she lets Loki live, and whispers two words in his ears; two words that will change his life forever.

Cameron also has prequel ebooks that you can pick up super cheap on Amazon. I am currently reading through them and they are amazing!!!

A Quickie With.... Eileen Gormely, 1/2 of Evie Hunter + Giveaway

My Writing Space by Eileen Gormely

I love closing the door, and surrounding myself by my peaceful haven of books and paper and pens, so suitable for writing a masterpiece. Er, not so much. It’s a lovely dream, but miles away from where I actually work.
I write in the extension. This is best described as a garden shed attached to the house. One entire wall is lined with tools, nuts, bolts, oil, glue, paint, drill bits and discarded kettles.

Another wall is lined with the washing machine, freezer and laundry baskets.
I work at an old sewing table. The sewing machine has gone to the great recycling yard in the sky, but the table still has the foot pedals and reel holders, and that’s where my laptop lives. It’s tucked in between two book cases, so I can grab dictionaries and reference books without having to get up.

When I was writing my last Regency, the table was piled twelve deep with memoirs, history books, 19th century dictionaries, and maps of the Peninsula. But for The Pleasures of Winter, it accumulated a lot of kinky paraphernalia that I hope no one will ask me about.

Under the table is the guinea pig who keeps a wary eye out for the cat, but likes to play with my toes when I’m writing. The hamster is in a cage beside the table, and the cat likes to come in and watch it, hoping for the day when the door is not properly closed and it can get at the hamster.

The question everyone asks when they see where I work is: Why? The house isn’t that small that I couldn’t find a corner that would be more comfortable to work in.

But the extension has two big advantages. One, it has huge windows and more natural light than anywhere else in the house. And two, it’s right beside the kitchen, and a regular source of caffeine. What else is important?

Evie Hunter is actually two authors Caroline McCall and Eileen Gormley who met at a creative writing workshop in Dublin in 2010. On discovering that they shared a passion for erotic fiction, they became the best of friends. In early 2012 they got a chance to co-write a series of erotic novellas for an American publisher. When they completed the second one without killing each other, they decided to take on something bigger. Eventually, they emerged into daylight, clutching THE PLEASURES OF WINTER, saying 'Never again' ... until the next time.

Wasteland Guest Post + Giveaway!!

As many of you can see from my previous review, I LOVED Wasteland by Lynn Rush! And for fun today, Totally Bookalicious is hosting a guest post by Jessica, one of the character's from Wasteland! So, without further ado, here is Jessica:

Whoa, thanks, Destiny for that review! You’re right, David and Beka’s story is...an adventure.

Hi, everyone. I’m Jessica Hanks. Lynn Rush wrote part of my story in Wasteland. I say part of my story, because I was kind of out of it the first half of the book.

But eventually I get with it…and then things get even more complicated for Beka and David. Now, I didn’t mean to cause so much trouble for them, but I guess turning into this Merus-thing is a big deal.

And it turns out a few people want me for their own purposes. Some good and some…not so good. David’s struggling a little bit about which side of the fence he’s on.

Then my Guardian, Beka, complicates things by being so…well, pretty, tempting, and a little more than curious about David.

I can’t tell you how things work out, you’ll just have to read the story to find out, but like Destiny mentioned in her review…it’s a wild ride.

But maybe I can help you with finding out how things end up for Beka, David, and me….

Lynn told me I could give away TWO e-copies of Wasteland today!!

But the two who win, you’ll have to promise to tell me what you think. AND, promise to stay tuned…I might eventually get my own story written some day. **shhhh, that’s a little secret, okay?**

Since I’m doing this post and not the ancient, computer illiterate, half-demon-David, let’s have some fun.

Earn an entry for leaving me a comment here. It can be about anything. Ask me a question or something, I’ll be around to answer it. Heck, if you want to ask David a question, go for it, I’ll see if I can’t wrangle him up to check this post out. Even he’d get a kick out of reading this great review! He still doesn’t believe anyone would want to read about his life. . .

Earn five more entries for checking out Lynn’s Facebook page. Leave her a comment telling her I sent you, okay? She’ll get a kick out of that. Plus, you’ll get five more entries.

Thanks, Destiny, for letting me come visit your blog. I love messing around on the computers. With all these ancient Guardians around here who refuse to jump into the 21st century and learn how to use a computer, it’s a nice break. And hey, can you tell the readers the rules of the giveaway? (The guidelines are listed below Jessica's post) I’m not sure about all the legal jargon I need to say.

See you ‘round the net, everyone. Thanks for checking out Wasteland. And be sure to check out Awaited when it comes out in May! It’s Russell’s story. He’s such a sweetie. Big things are in store for him…he just doesn’t realize it yet. **shhh, don’t tell him I said that**

Wasn't that so much fun?! Many thanks to Jessica and to Lynn for this fabulous guest post and for a great giveaway!

Giveaway Guidelines:

1. Open internationally.

2. Open for entries on Tuesday January 24th, 2012 9am EST to Midnight EST Friday January 27th, 2012.

3. Leave your email in the comments so we can contact you if you are a winner.

4. Winner will be contacted via email by January 31st, 2012.

5. E-books are non-transferrable. To do so violates copyright.

Between Blog Tour: Author Interview + Giveaway

Today is our turn in the Between Blog Tour, having read and loved both books in the Crossroads Saga its my pleasure to have a quick interview with Mary.

Sio: Have you always been a writer or did the writing bug strike at a certain age?

Mary: I’ve been teaching for 19 years. Writing a novel never crossed my mind until my grandmother passed away. Writing became my outlet and it was a way for me to heal the loss of her.

Sio: How did you come to write about this particular genre?

Mary: To tell you the truth, I don’t remember picking up a novel since high school. One day, I went to Costco and saw a cover of two hands with an apple. It drew me in. After finding out that it was about a vampire, I put it down. When I went home, I received the Entertainment Magazine and guess who I saw on the cover? Kristin Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Just finding out that it was going to be a movie, I went back to Costco. From then on, I started reading young adult novels ONLY.

Sio: Did you have any significant high or low moments while writing the book/series?

Mary: There are times when I can write several chapters in one sitting and there are times when I’m staring at a blank page…lol!!! That is when I walk away and try not to think of the characters. Strangely, when I’m driving, cooking, or even taking a shower, something pops in my mind and the creative juice starts flowing.

Sio: What is your favorite part of the writing process?

Mary: Diving into a world that takes you away from reality. You can do and say anything you want…well… almost…lol!!!

Sio: Was there a particular book that influenced you as a teen?

Mary: I didn’t read much when I was a teen. Sad to say but I didn’t enjoy reading. Now I love it. I do remember reading and loving V.C. Andrews books.

Sio: Is anything else you would like to add about yourself or the books?

Mary: I took on a journey not knowing how rewarding it would be for me. I’ve meet so many wonderful people from all over the world through facebook, twitter, goodreads and blog sites. I’ve made everlasting friendship where friendship knows no boundaries. Writing Crossroads was a way for me to heal the loss of my grandmother. I wrote it for her, but I wrote Between for my fans. My fans have been so dedicated and their encouragement and enthusiasm has inspired me. So, for all the Crossroads fans out there, Between is for you!!! Thank you so much for having me!!! And thank you to my readers who are now my friends. Thank you for being my friend!!!

The Pull of Gravity SUPER GIVEAWAY!!!

Back in November, I read The Pull of Gravity by Gae Polisner and it became one of my favorite books of 2011 (and my favorite books ever for that matter)!

While Nick Gardner’s family is falling apart, his best friend, Scooter, is dying from a freak disease. The Scoot’s final wish is that Nick and their quirky classmate, Jaycee Amato, deliver a prized first-edition copy of Of Mice and Men to the Scoot’s father. There’s just one problem: the Scoot’s father walked out years ago and hasn’t been heard from since. So, guided by Steinbeck’s life lessons, and with only the vaguest of plans, Nick and Jaycee set off to find him. Characters you’ll want to become friends with and a narrative voice that sparkles with wit make this a truly original coming-of-age story.

Doesn't that sound fantastic?! You can read my review here. So since 2011 is coming to a close, I have decided to give away several prize packs!

Prize Pack #1: Hardcover Copy of The Pull of Gravity, Signed Swag, Signed Bookmarks (U.S. only)

Prize Pack #2: Signed Swag, Signed Bookmarks (U.S. only)

Prize Pack #3: Signed Bookmarks (U.S.)

Prize Pack #4: Signed Bookmarks (International x2 winners)

Yes, I know I am doing the majority of the prize packs to U.S. only, but shipping is rather expensive; however, I AM including our international friends in the giveaway by including 2 winners. This means a total of 5 WINNERS!

To enter, (because I can't get my form to load properly) simply leave a comment stating if you are U.S or International and your email address where I can contact you if you win. The contest will run for one week, ending on January 5, 2012 - when winners will be chosen at random - and I will contact all winners after the giveaway closes. GOOD LUCK to all!!

Jennifer L. Armentrout OBSIDIAN Blog Tour Interview and Giveaway!

Today at Totally Bookalicious, I had the pleasure of interviewing the wonderful Jennifer L. Armentrout, author of Obsidian, which was released on December 6th by Entangled Publishing. Before we begin, here is the synopsis for Obsidian:

Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring…. until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don’t kill him first, that is.

And now that everyone is intrigued, here is my interview with Jennifer:

Destiny: Have you always wanted to write or were you bitten by the writing bug somewhere along the way?

Jennifer: As cliche as it sounds, I've always wanted to be a writer. Ever since I was wee little.

Destiny: Have you always loved the paranormal genre? Is there a favorite being you like more than another?

Jennifer: The paranormal genre has always been my favorite, mainly because like with fantasy, there is so, so much you can do with it and so many different worlds to explore. My favorite would have to be vamps, of course, but on the adult side. I'm not real big on the vamp stories in YA, but I love me some adult romance with vamps.

Destiny: Since Obsidian is being spotlighted here on the blog, I must ask, how did you come up with the idea to write about aliens?

Jennifer: How Obsidian came into creation was really abnormal. It started off as an email from my editor at Entangled after I turned in my adult novel for edits. Jokingly, she asked if I had any interest in writing about aliens in high school since she hadn't seen anything like that in her submissions, and I laughed. A lot. I was like "Aliens?" But then I got thinking and I came up with a plot and characters. The last thing I had created was what kind of alien they were. So half of the book, I was writing Daemon picturing him as a giant insect, lol.

Destiny: While this was an alien themed book, you did not take the stereotypical alien "type" with your characters. What made you decide to make your aliens so different?

Jennifer: I'm not sure what the typical alien type is. Insect? Little green men? LOL. I'm not into hardcore science fiction, so I really wanted to keep Obsidian scfi light. I think that helped determine what kind of aliens they were, and also consulting with people with physics degrees helped. Believe it or not, but the rocks used in the book have an impact on the kind of ....um, alien DNA they have.

Destiny: I loved how Katy was a book blogger! Have you, or do you, blog as as well?

Jennifer: Yep, I have a blog and try to keep up with it.

Destiny: Have you plotted out a set number of books for the Lux series?

Jennifer: The second book is finished and with the editor. I'm also writing a novella right now that will come out in Feb 2012. I haven't started the third one yet. I don't outline, but have a general idea of what is going to happen.

Destiny: And most of all, when can we expect the next installment?

Jennifer: Right now, Onyx is scheduled for May 2012 but that can change.

Destiny: Is there anything else you would like to add?

Jennifer: I hope everyone enjoys Obsidian and thank you for having me on the blog.

Thank you so much Jennifer!! That was fantastic! I absolutely loved Obsidian and you can get your own copy of the novel here: Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Book Depository!

Also, you can leave a comment below and be entered to win ONE ebook copy of Obsidian! *Open to International!*
