Such a tough choice but in the end I'd say Cinderella becasue I consistently love every single variation ever made- the disney, Ever After: A cinderella Story and Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine so I know I'd love Cinder too!

ReplyDeleteMy favourite fairy tale is: Beauty and the Beast. Ever since I was a child I've always been a fan of Disney but Beauty and Beast's story is the one I love best because I love all the characters, the songs from the movie and just the general plot plus Beast is pretty handsome. ;)

ReplyDeleteActually my favourite fairy tale is Little Mermaid, but Cinderella is a close second and i would really love to read this book. And since i don't live in the uk i have it send to my friend who does and she would also love to read it. :) 2 birds in one stone :)
ReplyDeleteI love the 12 dancing princesses. I think that they could sneak away every night and go dancing. I've still got the ladybird book which my dad used to read to me.
ReplyDeleteThough if it came to Disney it would have to be Mulan. Kick ass chick disguised as a man and saves the empire?? why else.
Thank you so much for this. My favourite fairytale is The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Anderson. In the original version she gives up her tongue to get legs but the prince does not love her and marrys another. She will become sea foam on the morning after his marriage. To save her, her sisters give her a knife with which she must kill the sleeping prince. She can not bring herself to do this so commits suicide.
ReplyDeleteThe older/original tales are far darker. C:
