Description
The clock chimes the end of an hour & shudders a breaks through me. 'what if he's dead, really dead? I suck in the air, trying not to give in & cry. 'Gone-forever dead,  you know? And i changed for nothing' The clock downstairs keeps chiming midnight. 'you don't believe that do you?'

Zara & Nick are soul mates, meant to be together forever. But that's not quite how things have worked out. For starters, Nick has gone.  He has been taken to the mythical place warriors known as Valhalla. Zara & her friends might be able to get him back, it's just not going to be easy. Meanwhile a group of evil pixies is devastating Bedford, with more teens going missing every day. An all-out war seems imminent, and the good guys need all the warriors they can find. But even if Zara & her friends do discover the route to Valhalla, there's that other problem: Zara's been pixie kissed. When she finds Nick, will he even want to go with her? Especially since she hasn't turned into just ant pixie......She's Astley's queen.

Review
This is the 3rd book in the Need series & to be honest i wasn't struck on this series to start with but if i start a book i have to finish it. I couldn't help comparing it to Twilight as it's got a girl who moves from a bigger town to a small town, she falls for the hottest guy at school who happens to be a werewolf, but i was wrong to do that as it's nothing like Twilight & once i did get into it i was totally hooked. I then felt slightly guilty for comparing it to Twilight.  In Need book 1 Zara comes to lives with her grandmother well she her step grandmother as her son was Zara's step-dad but he was the one she called dad & had brought her up, Zara moved to Maine after her step dad died & she sort of stopped living.
The cover of this book is beautiful i love the way it draws you in. The story carries on from book 3 Captivate Nick who's a were wolf is missing he's been taken to Valhalla by a Valkyrie & Zara is now a pixie queen. Her friends have accepted she is now a pixie & slowly they start to trust her again. Teens are still going missing the town has a curfew they are doing everything to try to keep the town safe.  I loved all the twists & turns it takes, having to guess who is good or bad. Finding out not all pixies are bad there is some who want to fight for good, who will stand with human, were or shapeshifter. We find out more about the characters strengths & weaknesses. They all have one common goal that is to ride Bedford Maine of the evil pixies. I really enjoy all the normal teenage drama mixed in with the fact they are trying to stop evil pixies from torturing anymore teenagers. It's an enthralling story that covers friendships, love & grief.  Very well wrote & really looking forward to the next book in the series. I'd recommend this book to all.

  3. The journey itself was great to read. We see Zara going to every length that she could to save Nick. We also see her fight herself. Will she be lost and become evil? Zara is constantly on edge and is always questioning herself. It is only in Astley that she finds peace and knows that not everything is evil.I was rooting for Zara to find herself and her love Nick.
