Description:
The vampires want it. The demons want it, too. And someone is willing to kill Val for it.Val and Fang have to find the powerful Encyclopedia Magicka before either of San Antonio's warring underworld factions locate it or the consequences will be deadly for the entire city. As usual, Val's vampire enemies (they still call her The Slayer) want her dead. Even some of her fellow demons may be less than trustworthy, since they'd like to grab the legendary book of spells before she does. Val has a personal claim to the Encyclopedia--her demon father left it to her when he died--but someone stole it recently. And that can't be good.Battling vamps and dodging demons, Val struggles to unravel the mystery and find the thief. At the same time, she's fighting her attraction to sweet, sexy Shade--her favorite shadow demon. Rumor has it that Val will lose her part-demon, vampire-fighting powers if she gives herself to him. With a crowd of vamps and demons out to trick her or kill her, it's not a good time for her to risk her job as the city's best vampire hunter by falling in love. The stakes are high and aimed right at her heart. But Lola, Val's hungry little lust demon, doesn't like being denied. Will Lola finally get her way? What's a part-lust-demon-teen supposed to do? Whatever it takes.

Review:
Fang Me is the third installement in the action packed urban fantasy by Parker Blue. And just like books 1 and 2 it does not disappoint.

Fang Me picks up pretty much straight after where Try me Finishes. It sees Val having to go work the vampires after the incidents from book 2 and is now working 5 nights a week with then until the Encyclopedia Magicka (which has been stolen) is found. This installement sees Val and her friends on a crazy mission find the books and while doing that Val is also on a self journey with Lola ( her succubus).

I really enjoyed Fang Me. Val is still the strong, independent character I grow to love from the first two books. Her relationship with the very sexy Shade has become more serious and I think they are one of the cutest couples ever. They are just made for each other and even though they aren't overly lovey dovey its very clear how much they care for each other.

The story itself just wonderful from start to finish. There is never a dull moment in this book and it readers will no doubt read it very quickly as Parker is such a wonderful story teller you can't help but being sucked into this world. And of course my favourite character is back. Fang. I can't gush over him enough. He just the best thing in these books. He stays true his character all the through the books and still has his funny one liners that crack me up. Fang I love you!

The only thing I really wasn't that keen on was how the story felt like it was taking parts from other books. Such as the vampires wanting to make themselves public reminded me of the Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood series. And how the vampires have set up blood banks for their blood which reminds me of how the vampires in the Morganville Vampires Series get their blood.

Apart from that I love every minutes of the books and I recommend these to anyone who likes action packed urban fantasy novels.

NOTE: I feel these would be unsuitable for younger readers as they are a Young Adult / Adult crossover.
