Book Description

How far will the bonds of friendship stretch?
how strong are the ties that bind one girls heart?

Exonerated by the Vampire council & returned to her position of High Priestess at Tulsa's House of Night, Neferet has sworn vengeance on Zoey. But Zoey has found sanctuary on the Isle of Skye & is being groomed by Queen Sgiach to take over for her there. Being Queen would be cool, wouldn't it? Why should she return to Tulsa? After losing Heath, she will never be the same - & her relationship with her super-hot-warrior Stark may never be the same either.....

And what about Stevie Rae & Rephaim? The raven Mocker refuses to be used against Stevie Rae, but what choice does he have when no-one in the entire world, including Zoey, would be okay with their relationship?
Does he betray his father or his heart?

'Zoey lives'
Neferet's voice was flat, cold lifeless
'she does. What will happen next?'
'it's quite simple. I will ensure Zoey is drawn back to Oklahoma. There, on my terms, i will complete the task you failed'

My Review

First of all i was a little annoyed, only slightly, that it was only in hard back. That aside i really would of liked the one with, i believe Rephaim, on the cover. This is going to prove very difficult to do without spoilers but i will try my very best.
This is book 8 of the House of Night series. It picks up where book 7 left us. Zoey's soul has been shattered as her human boyfriend was murdered by Kalona on Neferet's orders. Stark went into the Otherworld & saved her. She's now complete again & living on the Isle of Skye with her warrior Stark, happily away from all the drama that's going on in Tulsa.
Things have a habit of becoming very complicated for Zoey, Aphrodite & Darius are set to leave but Zoey doesn't feel ready to yet. Things are happening at the Tulsa house of night & they really need Zoey to come back.  Stevie Rae is having problems keeping her secret from her red fledglings especially Kramisha Poet Laureate.
I really enjoyed Awakened it was everything i wanted it to be & more still loads to sort out. It is action packed had my emotions all over the place, one minute crying the next laughing to being really angry.  I am really looking forward to the next instalment Destined.
