Genre: YA Fantasy, Paranormal Romance

Description:
For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment.

But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

Review:
First I am going to start with the cover. OMG how lovely. Its prefect it really it. I love the red of the feathers that gradually go into the black. And in person its sooo shinny. (Yeah Im such a girl I love shinny lol)

I really enjoyed reading this story, Its a real page turner. It really draws you in from the start. It dark, mysterious and down right sexy. I loved the relationship between Nora and Patch. Its just full of sexual tension at some part even I was screaming just do it already lol. I found it real easy to connect with Nora, she "attractive, intelligent and vulnerable". Patch is just so.....mmmmm....yeah lol. He is the bad boy. And it is easy to understand why Nora its drawn to him. He is very mysterious and just plain yummy. lol. I know alot of review have mentioned they dont like how Nora is with Patch because one minute she can't stand him and the next she its attracted to him and well I liked that part of there relationship because I have been there. lol

The only down side was Nora's best friend Vee, she just really irriated me. I didn't like her all that much. They hardly even acted like best friends most of the time.

This is Becca's debut novel and what a wonderful novel. It is packed with twists and turns you don't see coming.

I would recommend this to those to like a dark story with some mystery. Also not recommend from younger readers due to some scenes in it. 15+

Oh and to all the reviews out there that claim this as a "Twilight Spin-off" what are you guys on??? The story is totally different and not a vampire in sight. It is also far better written.
