Tara Hudson's Hereafter Book Signing!!

Tara Hudson's debut book, Hereafter, is featured as one of HarperTeen's "Dark Days of Supernatural" summer read books. Tara has recently begun signing across the U.S. and this past Saturday, June 11, I had the privilege of going to one of her signings at Full Circle Bookstore in Oklahoma City, OK.

Tara began her signing with a wonderful speech about how her book came to fruition and why she chose to set the location in Oklahoma. Most notably, she focused on how when she completed her manuscript, it was time for agent queries. The hard part. She made a list of 80 agents she had heard positive things about in a spreadsheet and began to contact them, starting from the bottom up. After over thirty rejections, her husband suggested she take a chance on herself and contact her top 5 agents. His belief in her paid off and her #3 agent chose her and she ended up with a 3 book deal with HarperCollins!

After the speech and question/answer portion, Tara signed our books, took pictures, and gave out "Haunted Love" bracelets. It was a fabulous event and Tara Hudson was very, very sweet. It was a wonderful afternoon and I can't wait to dive into Hereafter and possibly even catch up with Tara at a future signing!

And yes, the lovely Tara even inscribed my book Happy Birthday since I went to the signing over my birthday weekend :)

P.C Cast Book Signing Glasgow

Photobucket

Yesterday I went to the P.c Cast's book signing at Waterstones in Glasgow, Scotland. It was incredible. She is a wonderful person and Omg She is hilarious.

She took her time answering questions that everyone always asks on her blog and then opened up to a Q&A and she took her time and answer everyone who asked.

She is really down to earth and I swear if my teachers where like her when at school I would have stayed on till the end. Lol.

One thing I really look and everyone thought was funny is that the kid Elliot, he was actually a real kid. Lol.

Oh and big extra Kudo on her scottish accent saying "Naw" she was rather good and the fact that she is married to a Scotsman is wicked.

I got most of my books all signed apart from one. No idea how that one got left out but just means next time she comes I get can it sign.

I also have a small surprise for you all aswell. However I will reveal once we reach 100 blog followers. Stay Tuned!!!
