**About The Book**
Ex-Marine and former combat trainer, Trent Reed has been shot at, he’s been in a coma and placed in war zones behind enemy lines most of his Marine career, but when his best friend calls for a favor, he is faced with one of the hardest decisions of his life—to be the Best Man. His turbulent past with races other than his own have him at odds with his best friend and the man’s new African American fiancĂ©e, and not helping matters is Trent’s crazy girlfriend who is on him about getting married too. When Trent accepts the job as Best Man against his better judgment, it’s done with a heavy heart and the understanding that his friend is soon to be out of his life—for good.

Teal Lofton is finally warming up to her best friend’s fiancĂ© and ex convict when she learns that they are expecting just a few short months before their wedding. If that’s not enough, as Maid of Honor, Teal had to put up with budget issues, a sobbing and hormonal bride, juggling her Katie’s secret pregnancy and not to mention, Trent, Logan’s jerk of a best friend and Best Man who she is strangely, yet wildly attracted to. When the shit hits the fan during the bachelor party and Trent disappears with the wedding rings, Teal flips her lid and chases him off into the night to fix yet again, another problem, but a tragic accident sets Trent and Teal on an inevitable course of self discovery and passion like they’ve never experienced before.

After reading Incarcerated I knew I needed the second instalment. I was curious about Trent and Teal but in the first we don't really know a lot about them. I had high hoped and I can honestly say they were met and then some!! Inevitable was just OMG freaking fantastic!! It was exciting and sexy. And yes I did fall in love with Trent!

We are first introduced to Teal and Trent in Incarcerated. Teal is Katie's best friend. She is a strong and gorgeous black woman. She is a tad stubborn but I like that.  Trent is Logan's best friend. Even though Trent has been labelled as a "racist" Teal is oddly attracted to him. Trent get under your skin. He cares about Logan and doesn't want to see him with his heart broken. We learn a lot out Trent's past in the first couple of chapters and we understand why he is the way he is. However, when he is with Teal there is so much chemistry between them that it's impossible for them to resist each other.

They open up to each and discover themselves. They reveal their past to each other and grow closer. The author really creates the perfect balance between them. These are two people who are just perfect for each other yet they both have issues that needs dealing with.

I enjoyed this so much more than Incarcerated. I found that Teal comes across as a much stronger main character. The storyline developed at a nice speed. Nothing seemed forced or rushed to me. The reader can just sit back and enjoy the book. I could have finished this in one sitting if I hadn't been feeling sick at time of reading.

I highly recommend these book to everyone who loves a good romance with some hot and steamy sexy times!! I haven't really read many interacial romance books but Inger Inversen's Love and War series is right at the top of my faves!! Now can I have book 3 like now please?!?!?!?!?
