Description:
After a rebellious summer night that almost claimed her life, Amy Henderson – the Onslow publican’s only daughter – is sent away to suffer a fate far worse than any other punishment:

Boarding School.

Three years on, a now nineteen-year-old Amy returns to Onslow for the summer. What once was a cauldron of activity with live bands, hot meals and cold beers, the Onslow Hotel now lies dark, deserted and depressing. All fond childhood memories of loitering on the hotel stairs and eavesdropping on customers’ colourful conversations are in the distant past.

How had her dad let it come to this?

With the new threat of putting the Onslow up for sale, Amy reluctantly turns to a local tradesman for help: Sean Murphy, the very same Onslow boy who saved her life all those years ago. With his help and that of some old friends, the task is clear: spend the summer building the hotel back up to its former glory or lose it for good.

In an endless summer, Amy soon realises that sometimes in order to save your future, you have to face your past, even if it’s in the form of a smug, gorgeous Onslow boy.

Sean!!! **sighs**

CJ Duggan has did it again!!! An Endless Summer is the 2nd book in the Summer Series. It is more of a companion novel than a sequel though. It was an almost perfect read for me. It was light, fun and very quick to read.

An Endless Summer is about Amy, she comes back from boarding school and wants to spend the summer at her families hotel. However, when she arrives she realises that things have been neglected and she makes it her mission to restore the hotel to it's former glory. Unforntunately it isn't all plain sailing...enter the Onslow Boys! Will she be able to save the hotel aswell and stop herself falling for the one man she doesn't want to fall for?

I adored "The Boys of Summer" so I jumped at the chance to read an ARC copy of An Endless Summer for author. I really liked the first book but it was slow starter. And this seems to have been the same. It took a few chapters for me to get completely hooked onto the story. However, once I did I love it. Amy has grown up since the first book and she is so funny. The chemistry between her and Sean was sizzling. I liked Amy. But I LOVED Sean!! He is so adorable. He is so easy going and fun natured. He is sexy as hell and he knows it but he is big headed like most guys who know they are hot. He is really down to earth.
My fave quote by Amy to Sean.

As I said An Endless Summer was a bit of a slow starter. It didn't grab me straight away. It took me a few chapters to warm up to the story and once I did. I was in love. It was such a great summer read. With the right mix of drama, romance and humour. The author really knows how to tell a good story and keep the readers gripped until the end.

I highly recommend The Summer series to anyone who loves a fun, light summer story that has yummy men and strong female characters. I can't wait for the next book to be released next year!! Is it 2014 yet??
