Review:
Slide is about Vee who has narcolepsy. However, when she collapses she can slide into other peoples head and one day she slides into a killers head and soon she is trying to uncover the truth and unravel the murder that everyone is calling a suicide.

What a nail biting read this little book was. I devoured it in one day and its so good. Jill Hathaway has took a fantastic murder mystery concept and added an extra paranormal twist that is simply genuis!!! Vee is one of those characters that you like immediately. She is a really nice girl who at first sees the slides as a cursed and not a gift. Jill really created a well developed character and as the story go we see her grow and reveal a horrible secret she has been keeping for a long time that truely broke my heart. Her best friend is Rollins and I thought he was adorable but we didn't really get enough of him, hopefully in book two we will see more of him. When the new boy Zane comes into the scene he clicked with Vee straight away and soon they fall for each other although it happened really quick and it did at times feel forced.

Slide is a murder mystery and boy it keeps you guessing. There is quite a few people who I thought it could have been but I did kinda know but Jill managed to throw a few red herrings in that did make me doubt myself. lol. As well as the mystery part of it there are also alot of other issues that the characters are dealing with such as grief and friendships breaking down. It just made the book real and makes you really connect with Vee.

I can't really say much about the story line without giving away spoilers because alot happens. All I can say it that its amazing!! A little slow to start but overall I adored it. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good murder mystery novel that will full of suspence. It keeps you glued to the end and its also quite heartwarming and make me cried a few times. Bring on book 2!!

Lastly I just HAVE to mention the cover for this book. At first when I seen images of it I wasn't sure but after I finally got the book I LOVED!! And now that I have read the book it fits perfectly!! Vee looks terrified on the cover and at times I was reading it. And in eye I never noticed until I got the book there is hands in it. Freaky!!!

If you have read the book tell me what you thought? (no spoilers)
