The exquisite and thought-provoking new book from the multi award-winning, internationally best-selling picture book creator of Lost and Found, Oliver Jeffers.

Well, hello.
And welcome to this Planet.
We call it Earth.

Our world can be a bewildering place, especially if you’ve only just got here. Your head will be filled with questions, so let’s explore what makes our planet and how we live on it. From land and sky, to people and time, these notes can be your guide and start you on your journey. And you’ll figure lots of things out for yourself. Just remember to leave notes for everyone else… Some things about our planet are pretty complicated, but things can be simple, too: you’ve just got to be kind.

Here We Are is the utterly heartfelt new book from Oliver Jeffers. We’re glad you found it.

Here We Are is a very sweet and simple children's picture that is quite moving and thought provoking.

Here We Are is a wonderful picture book to read to your children or read alongside your children. It is such a sweet concept of teaching children little facts about the earth. Yet for such a short book it really makes you think about the planet we are leaving behind for our children and what we can teach them about our planet and the human race.

The simplicity of the book and the colourful pictures will surely keep children engaged from start to finish. Yet it has the power to make even adults think and by the end even I was little bit emotional at the messages that are within this little gem of book.

I adore how the book came about. It was inspired by the birth of the author's son and the realisation that we are parents have the responsibly to teach our children about the world that we live in.

I highly recommend investing in this fabulous book. Between the content and the overall aesthetically pleasing presentation of the book it's sure to be a hit.
