Description:
When Caroline Piasecki's ex-boyfriend posts their sex pictures on the Internet, it destroys her reputation as a nice college girl. Suddenly her once-promising future doesn't look so bright. Caroline tries to make the pictures disappear; hoping time will bury her shame. Then a guy she barely knows rises to her defence and punches her ex to the ground.

West Leavitt is the last person Caroline needs in her life. Everyone knows he's shady. Still, Caroline is drawn to his confidence and swagger - even after promising her dad she'll keep her distance. On late, sleepless nights, Caroline starts wandering into the bakery where West works.

They hang out, they talk, they listen. Though Caroline and West tell each other they're 'just friends,' their feelings intensify until it becomes impossible to pretend. The more complicated her relationship with West gets, the harder Caroline has to struggle to discover what she wants for herself - and the easier it becomes to find the courage she needs to fight back against the people who would judge her.

When all seems lost, sometimes the only place to go is deeper.
Goodreads

Deeper by Robin York is actually a tricky one to review for me. I am torn with my feelings on it. At first it took me days to actually get into the story. However, once I got to the halfway point in the story I couldn't put it down.

Deeper is about the after math of "Revenge Porn". Caroline's ex boyfriend posts sex pictures of her online and Caroline is completely damaged by this. She loses all her confidence. However, as she is trying to cope she ends up befriending West. As they grow closer Caroline grows as person and tries to move forward from the online pictures. But it's not an easy ride.

I felt completely sorry for Caroline. Her situation is very easy to get into. Most people have probably took the odd picture or two with their partners because they trust them. They would never expect them to be posted for the world to see. This completely shatters Caroline. It messes with her head and she struggles to actually live her life. Enter West.....West, what can I say about West. He isn't what he seems. He comes across as a bit of bad boy, doesn't get close to anyone but deep down he is caring and sweet although at times he is a complete arse! But together Caroline and West work. It's not a rushed relationship but develops slowly which makes it more believable.

Now the story as I mentioned took me awhile to get into. I felt like I had read the story before. I have notice that a lot of New Adult fiction sound the same. Don't get me wrong Deeper is a really good story. It is carefully thought out and get's you really thinking about Caroline's situation but it was just missing the spark for me to fall in love with it. Although by the middle of the book the story picks up and I ended up hooked. And by the end......well let's just say I ended up being a sobbing mess.

Do I recommend Deeper? Yes, I do. I think if you are a big fan of New Adult  you are going love this. It seems to a big hit among those who love their New Adult fiction.  Personally, I think Deeper is a good read. It has enough romance and interesting plot that kept me intrigued and I am actually really looking forward to reading the next installment.
