Fast approaching her 30th birthday and finding herself not married, not dating, and without even a prospect or a house full of cats, Renee Greene, the heroine of Click: An Online Love Story, reluctantly joins her best guy pal on a journey to find love online in Los Angeles. The story unfolds through a series of emails between Renee and her best friends (anal-compulsive Mark, the overly-judgmental Ashley and the over-sexed Shelley) as well as the gentlemen suitors she meets online. From the guy who starts every story with "My buddies and I were out drinking one night," to the egotistical "B" celebrity looking for someone to stroke his ego, Renee endures her share of hilarious and heinous cyber dates. Fraught with BCC's, FWD's and inadvertent Reply to All's, readers will root for Renee to "click" with the right man.

Lisa sent me an email asking me to review this book. And I am so happy that I did. I don't usually read Adult novels but the descriptions made it sound like a really fun and interesting read.

Click follows the adventures of Renee, a soon to be 30 year old single woman who is looking for love online. Renee's journey take her one all kinds of date some good and some bad, all with the goal for finding Mr Right. Will Renee ever find "the one"?

What a fantastic and oh so funny read. Told through emails between four friends the reader is plunged into the world of internet dating. Renee is one of those characters its hard not to like. She is easy going and even when put through some god awful dates she still has hope that she will find her Mr Right. Her three best friends are all fantastic, each bring a little something to the story. Shelley (who is my favourite) is a complete man eater and I love that. She is a strong character and is Renee's best friend, she is really supportive when Renee started the online dating. Mark, who is the man that convinced Renee to try online dating is really sweet. He comes across like a really good friend. Ashley (argh) I really hated her! I thought she was so self absorbed and judgemental. However, the four of them together is just so funny because they are all different yet they all seem to care for each.

The story once to get into it is really fast paced and comical. Its one of those book that have you up all night reading and laughing and just wanting to be part of this group of friends. I have to admit it though it took a while for me to get used to reading a book that it's email format but once I did I was completely hook. It just such a fresh and funny story that can be enjoyed by anyone. Especially singles who have tried online dating.

What I really loved about Click is that it reminds me of Sex and the City (this is a massive compliment because Sex and the City is my favourite TV show ever!) The characters of the Click and the characters in SatC are very similar and even the situations that Renee and her friends ended up in I could have easily been watching an SatC episode. Just fantastic!

I am really looking forward to more of Lisa's work as she just manages to create a fantastic and fun read that is really light and is the perfect summer read!
