Description:
For Kate Bennet, surviving the car wreck that killed her parents means big changes and even bigger problems. As she begins to see auras and invisible people, Kate must learn to trust Patrick O'Donnell, a handsome Guardian, or risk her life being overrun with Demons. She soon realizes that both she and her heart are in big-time trouble.

Review:
Seers in the first book in a trilogy. It follows the story of Kate, who after a horrible car crashed that killed her parents, she can now see peoples auras. She trying just deal with life and get back on track but her world is shakened up when a new boy Patrick, who doesn't have a normal aura starts at school.

The opening of the book had been completely hooked. It was intriguing. And very different to how a lot of book starts. However, after the initial start I was slightly disappointed because it was told from Patricks POV. About his life and then it changes to Kate. Now don't get me wrong I adored Kate and I loved her story. But for me Patrick's story spoke to me and I really want it keep reading in his POV. I also have a big soft spot for Patrick because he is Irish so maybe that's another reason why I wanted to be in his POV. Now Kate, as I said I liked her. She is a smart girl who is strong. She cares for her family and is always tryinh to do the right thing.

Seers sorted of reminded me of Evermore by Alyson Noel because of the car crash, parents dying and a near death experience that left our protagonist with the abilities to see Auras. However, that is where the comparison ends. Seers was exciting, and thrilling. It keeps you interested from page one until.the very end and leaves you gasping for more when its finished.  There is a lot of unanswered questions at the end and usually that bugs me but for some reason it didn't and it just add to the mystery that revolves around the bad guy.

I highly recommend Seers if you are looking for something different. It has all the elements that make perfect YA novel. Excitement, action, mystery and a good romance with a very yummy Irish man ;)
