Cover Lover #1

Cover Lover is our new weekly meme where I showcase 5 books that I think are just stunning. There are so many different "Cover Lover" meme all over the blogsphere so I am in no way trying to claim this as my own. I used to do Cover Lover with one cover at a time but decided to turn it into a weekly meme.

So here are the five covers I have chosen this week.

Deadly Cool by Gemma Halliday
11th Oct 2011
Hartley Grace Featherstone is having a very bad day. First she finds out that her boyfriend is cheating on her with the president of the Herbert Hoover High School Chastity Club. Then he's pegged as the #1 suspect in a murder. And if that weren't enough, now he's depending on Hartley to clear his name. Seriously? Not cool. But as much as Hartley wouldn't mind seeing him squirm, she knows he's innocent, and she's the only one who can help him. Along with her best friend, Sam, and the school's resident Bad Boy, Chase, Hartley starts investigating on her own. But as the dead bodies begin to pile up, the mystery deepens, the suspects multiply, and Hartley begins to fear that she may be the killer's next victim.

Seriously, Can I have her eyes please? Omg I love this cover, those eyes are so blue and stunning yet somewhat creepy. Lol. I love the way "Cool" looks with the earphones. Cant wait to read this aswell sounds like a great read.

Dark Parties by Sara Grant
20th Oct 2011
Sixteen-year-old Neva has been trapped since birth. She was born and raised under the Protectosphere, in an isolated nation ruled by fear, lies, and xenophobia. A shield "protects" them from the outside world, but also locks the citizens inside. But there's nothing left on the outside, ever since the world collapsed from violent warfare. Or so the government says. Neva and her best friend Sanna believe the government is lying and stage a "dark party" to recruit members for their underground rebellion. But as Neva begins to uncover the truth, she realizes she must question everything she's ever known, including the people she loves the most.

This is the UK cover and I am in love with it!!! I love everything about it. The Dress oh I love it. It reminds me of the covers from the Fallen Series by Lauren Kate and I have noticed a lot of books taking on that look. Cant wait to read this one

Everneath by Brodi Ashton
3rd Jan 2012
Nikki Beckett has just returned from the Everneath to a family who doesn't know where she's been, a boyfriend who doesn't know why she left and old friends who think she's an addict. But Nikki doesn't have time to answer questions. She only has six months before the tunnels of the Everneath come for her again. Six months for goodbyes she'll never be able to say out loud. Six months to find redemption, if it exists. But then Nikki discovers that she didn't return to the surface alone. Cole, the Everliving who lured her into the Everneath followed her as is determined to make sure Nikki returns to the Everneath with him, but this time as his queen. Nikki soon realises that Cole will stop at nothing to convince her to rule with him, putting everyone she loves, especially her boyfriend Jack, in grave danger. Together, Nikki and Jack search for answers in ancient myths and from mysterious characters, hoping to find a loophole for Nikki to escape her fate. And they do...Killing an Everliving can't be that hard, can it?

OK Whats not to like about this cover? I mean its just WOW. I love how the smoke and the dress kind of fade (I think thats the word I am looking for) into each other. So cant wait for this book.

Incarnate by Jodi Meadows
31st Jan 2012
NEWSOUL
Ana is new. For thousands of years in Range, a million souls have been reincarnated over and over, keeping their memories and experiences from previous lifetimes. When Ana was born, another soul vanished, and no one knows why.

NOSOUL
Even Ana’s own mother thinks she’s a nosoul, an omen of worse things to come, and has kept her away from society. To escape her seclusion and learn whether she’ll be reincarnated, Ana travels to the city of Heart, but its citizens are suspicious and afraid of what her presence means. When dragons and sylph attack the city, is Ana to blame?

HEART
Sam believes Ana’s new soul is good and worthwhile. When he stands up for her, their relationship blooms. But can he love someone who may live only once, and will Ana’s enemies—human and creature alike—let them be together? Ana needs to uncover the mistake that gave her someone else’s life, but will her quest threaten the peace of Heart and destroy the promise of reincarnation for all?

Do I even need to say why this is in Cover Lover? hello its just beautiful. Enough said!

Almost Everything by Tate Hallaway
7th Feb 2012
Whoever said vacations were relaxing? To say half-vampire, half-witch Ana Parker has boy trouble is putting it lightly—something her text messaging bill can attest to. Her rocker ex-boyfriend Nikolai is trying to heat things up again, and high school hockey star Mathew wants her to try out with him for the Renaissance Festival. At least her sort-of boyfriend Elias isn’t hounding her cell—considering the vampire knight is currently living in her basement. Ever since her father banished Elias and Ana from the court of the Northern vampires, Ana has been trying to live a normal life. But when the Prince of the Southern Region vampires informs Ana that they’re on the brink of war and she accidentally offers up Elias as a peace offering, the princess knows that she’s going to need some help to get out of the situation. With Ana’s boy drama meter hitting an all time high, summer in St. Paul is heating up for all the wrong reasons.

I love this cover. I think its the prettiest cover so far in the series. I think its the pink. I do love Pink just a little (ALOT!) and also I think the design going up the side of the flower/plant is super cute.
